K-Kids Clubs


A K-Kids Club provides Grades 3, 4, and 5 children in an elementary school with an opportunity to give service to their community, develop pride in their ability to contribute, learn about the operation of a volunteer organization, and develop leadership skills.  The Kiwanis Club of Brantford sponsored the first K-Kids Club in the Eastern Canada & Caribbean District.  Currently, the Kiwanis Club of Brantford does not sponsor a K-Kids Club.

 

 

Builders Clubs

A Builders Club is a coeducational service organization that provides young people between the ages of 11 and 15 the opportunity to help others, serve their schools and community, and build a positive future for themselves.  These young students develop and carry out service projects for their school and community.  They may participate in fund-raising projects to support a local charity or school concern.  Builders Clubs elect their own officers and hold regular meetings.  Their projects are conducted under the supervision of faculty advisors and the Kiwanis club.  Currently, the Kiwanis Club of Brantford doe snot sponsor a Builders Club.

 

 

 

Key Clubs

A Key Club is a coeducational service organization for high school students, organized and sponsored by a Kiwanis club.  It is a self-governing organization and elects its own officers, determines its own service activities, and establishes its own dues structure.  Its Objects include the Objects of a Kiwanis club.  The Kiwanis Club of Brantford sponsors Key Clubs in two local high schools - Brantford Collegiate Institute & Pauline Johnson Collegiate.

 

 

 

Kiwanis CKI (Circle K) Clubs

A CKI club is a coeducational service, leadership-development, and friendship organization, organized and sponsored by a Kiwanis club on a college or university campus.  It is a self-governing organization and elects its own officers, conducts its own meetings, determines its own service activities, and establishes its own dues structure with active support from the sponsoring Kiwanis club.  Its Objects inclue the Objects of a Kiwanis club.  The Kiwanis Club of Brantford sponsors a CKI Club at Wilfrid Laurier University and Nipissing University in Brantford.

 

 

 

AKtion Clubs

AKtion Clubs help provide adult citizens who live with a disability the opportunity to develop initiative and leadership, to serve their community, and to contribute as citizens.  AKtion Clubs are sponsored by a local Kiwanis club in coordination with a facility that provides services to adults who live with a disability.  The Kiwanis Club of Brantford has established The AKtion Club of Brantford in coordination with Community Living Brant.
